As a business owner and entrepreneur it is essential to get out and meet new people that can enhance and benefit your goals. The importance of establishing a powerful network of influential contacts has become more paramount than ever and staff members as well as business owners have to be prepared to leave their comfort zones.
If everyone is doing it, than why does it still feel a little unnerving to enter a room of strangers and just go and strike up a conversation, searching for something suitable to say.
Well as everything in life, if you are well prepared and you set yourself some goals of what you are wanting to get out of it, then you will be surprised as to how successful such networking events can be and what incredible people are out there just waiting to be found!
One of the most obivious things you will need to have at the ready, is your introduction to who you are and what you do. Spend some time on your response as this is your biggest opportunity to engage others.
And remember that the chances are, everyone is feeling the way that you do when you first enter the room!

I fine it extremly difficult to approach and strike up a conversaton with people,However recently I've manage to connect with a few other business owners and have found it to be very benificial to my own small business.
I would love to be able to set up a network as you say even if it was only to bounch ideas off someone like minded as myself.
